Jemez Mountain Baptist Church is the evacuation center and has information about resources for evacuees including offers for local housing, offers of assistance for animals/livestock, etc… please check in with the evacuation center for current info.
Animal Amigos has supplied the evacuation center with some transport and care supplies
Livestock housing location offers have come from local individuals and public entities including the Sheriffs Posse and Expo NM. For anyone looking for a place to take their animals due to the Cerro Pelado Fire, another alternative besides Expo New Mexico is the Sandoval County Sheriff’s Posse Arena, located at 1043 Rodeo Ln, Bernalillo, NM 87004.
